Terms & Conditions

BOOKING
For a date to be held exclusive for you a 50% deposit will be required upon booking. Your booking will be confirmed soon as the deposit has been made. The remainder is due upon arrival.

CANCELLATION/CHANGES FEES
Cancellations/changes within 120 hours before the start time of a booking will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the start time of a booking with incur a 100% cancellation fee. This includes changes to your bookings for example changing booking date or going from a full to half day.

LIABILITY
Each photographer is to present their liability insurance prior to shooting. If you don't have any then the photographer responsible for the shoot is to complete and hand in the Liability Waiver to the studio manager on the day or prior to the booking. 

REPAINT
Let’s talk Paint! Studios usually use cheap acrylic paints that mark and scuff easily, are impossible to clean and need to be repainted after almost every booking. We hate the waste and expense of this both both us and you. So instead, we use a special enamel paint on all our cycloramas. With a little bit of care this means we can usually avoid painting for weeks or even months! It also means we almost never have to charge a client to repaint the studio, all that is asked is that you give it a clean at the end of your booking. We provide you with the necessary cleaning gear. The studios always come to you in a clean condition for shooting, however as with all studios if you need absolutely perfect, pristine paint, you’ll want it painted prior to your hire. Costs are Taco $120 / Burrito $180 / Enchilada $275 each and require 48 hours notice. If you do not want to clean after your booking, or it’s left too dirty for the next booking, you will be charged Taco $120 / Burrito $180 / Enchilada $275 for repainting.

STUDIO OVERTIME
Additional hours are charged at a rate of Taco $80 / Burrito $120 / Enchilada $150 per hour accrued after the 15 minute mark. After Hours bookings ending after 8pm incur an additional overtime fee of $150.
Bookings start at the allotted time. If early access is required it is charged accordingly.

BUMP IN / OUT
If you need to drop off or pickup gear outside of your allowed booking time, then there is a $150 fee.

FOR HIRE EQUIPMENT PAYMENT 
If you would like to hire any of our addition equipment, payment will be made immediately upon hire. We accept credit card, bank transfer or cash, so please prepare accordingly. If you would like to hire any of our addition equipment, payment will be made immediately upon hire. For hire equipment is first come, first serve, between our two studios so please remember to reserve anything you need at least 24hrs in advance.

SOUND
Tamale Studios is a studio within a creative workspace. Although you have full access to studio areas, residents may walk through once in a while (unless a closed set is requested) Because of this please keep the music and sound to a reasonable level.

CLEANING
The studio is expected to be returned in the same shape it is found. There are reusable shoe protectors available at no extra charge. If the studio is left in a messy condition after your booking there will be a Taco $75 / Burrito & Enchilada $150 cleaning fee applied.

RUBBISH
Your rubbish is to leave with you - we can handle it for $10 a bag.

DAMAGE 
If any damage happens during your shoot let our staff know immediately. Restoration fees will apply according to the extent of the damage

OUTSTANDING/FINAL PAYMENTS 
At the end of your booking, any outstanding balance will be automatically charged to the credit card on file, unless you bring other forms of payment to your booking. All outstanding balances must be cleared before you leave the premises. If there is a question as too if a cleaning fee is needed (wet floor, etc) a hold for the cleaning/painting fees will be placed on your card for 24hrs and charged if necessary.

STUDIO ENCHILADA - THE PRODUCTION PACKAGE
If you pay for this service, you will not be required to clean the cyc or studio upon the completion of your booking. You can also schedule 1 pre-booking drop-off and 1 post-booking pickup, subject to studio availability. Rubbish removal of 5 large garbage bags is included.
Physical damage to the cyc or studio is not included in this price.
If you require the cyc painted fresh before the booking, then this is an additional cost.
